FO Sunday 6.27.10

It's FO Sunday. I know, you were all so excited about linking up. :) (ok, maybe not, but I really hope so). Here's the rules. Ha, rules. All you have to do is take pictures of anything you've eaten the last week and make us all jealous. It's that easy. It can be something you made, or ate out. I'm not particular.

FO as per the Dazee Dreamer Dictionary - Food Orgasm

This first picture is not really an FO but they were the sitting on the table at my soon to be daughter-in-law's bridal shower yesterday. I thought they were so freaking cute. I know, you all have probably seen them, but still. And they are her colors for the wedding, plus they tasted good.

This wonderful looking dish was a pork burrito that we had at a cute little restaurant called The Thunderbird in my cousin's po-dunk little town. A mexican food place and coffee shop. So, so, cute. And the frappuccino, it was called a Milky Way. OMG. Chocolate, Carmel, and slathered in whip cream. Yeah FO.

My favorite FO of the week tho was the dinner I made for my sweet hubby. This was the first year it was just me and him. We are having our big family dinner today. What we have here is a BBQ'd top sirloin steak, asparagus and baked potato, slathered with sour cream, and Heinz 57 steak sauce for just a little more zing. And the wine in our cute little flutes, Arbor Mist Cranberry Twist.

Now link on up. I want to see some of the stuff other people consider an FO.

FO Sunday, Saturday Night :)

Ok, I know you are all wondering why FO Sunday is happening tonight. Well, because tomorrow is fathers day, and I have a special blog all lined up and ready to go.

F.O. , as per the Dazee Dreamer Dictionary, (adj)........ Food Orgasm

Let this weeks party begin.

Sunday's Dinner. Sweet and Sour Chicken. No, I don't make the sauce from scratch. I'm lazy. But I have found the best canned sauce. Contadina. Unfortunately, I can only find it in one of the stores around here, not the big name stores. So I buy up every can they have when I do buy it. But the flavor is to die for. I'm boring also with what I put it in. Chicken, green pepper and red pepper. There are pineapple bits in the sauce, so I don't even add more. French cut green beans finished this lovely meal. (and yes, it is slathered in pepper, leave me alone)

The second FO of the week was General Chu's Chicken and Pot Stickers from a local family run chinese restaurant here. It is called David's Kitchen. A little pricy, but so worth it. Their pot stickers are the best I have ever had, anywhere. They put so much tasty meat in it. Of course, I must slather them in the soy sauce and add as much heat as you can with the chili sauce. I'm a medium heat kind of gal. I've been known to add the heat to other chinese dishes just to heat it up. Top this meal off with a coke zero and life is good.

This was friday's lunch at work. Another fun place to go around here. Iceberg. Thick huge shakes, even tho the one pictured is a mini. MINI. It's as big as some places large. This weeks choice of shake was the ever tasty, chocolate peanut butter banana. (next time I'm trying their pomegranate acia) I got what they call the Rodeo burger. Hamburger, bacon, american cheese, a huge onion ring and it is slathered in bbq sauce. OMG. Fries and fry sauce (a Utah thing) and you are having a party in the old mouth.

Your turn. Link on up and show us the party in your mouth this week.

FO Sunday 6.13.10

FO Sunday is here, and in case you are new or forgot, cuz I know some of you are older and forget (wink, wink) here is the definition.

F.O. , as per the Dazee Dreamer Dictionary, (adj)........ Food Orgasm

So if you want to play along, link up at the bottom so we can all see what caused the party in your mouth this past week.

We start off today with the classic home grown tomato sandwich on toasted bread, a little bit of mayo and of course said tomato. As much salt and pepper as you like and voila. This didn't have a party in my mouth but in the mouth of my good friend Natasha who promises me the next time her and I get together she will make me one. (of course, she doesn't have a blog, YET, so she couldn't just link up)

The first FO I experienced this week was a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger and fries from a local hamburger joint. Yeah, I said Jr. It is huge! The regular size is even bigger. Of course, being a Utahn I had to have fry sauce (and yes, that is specks of pepper in it, I also add pepper to my ketchup, what ya gonna do about it). Can you say PAR-TEE!!!

The last FO of the week was this nummy sandwich. It's from another local restaurant here, called The Soup Kitchen. Funny story, when I went and bought it and took it back to work, my son said, "it really isn't like the soup kitchen that the homeless people go to, is it?" lol. Nope, they just make the nummiest homemade soup and sandwiches. This one is called the SKS, which stands for soup kitchen special. Turkey, american cheese, swiss cheese, tomato, bacon, shredded lettuce, sprouts, and a smidge of mayo. Clam chowder soup is to die for. They also give you some homemade bread sticks but I just used my sandwich to dunk in my soup. Of course, they had this great looking cookies, so it jumped on my tray, and so, snickerdoodle for dessert.

There you have it. Made ya hungry, didn't I.
Now, come on. Don't be shy. Link on up. (or I will have to hunt you down!!!)

FO Sunday 6/6/10

It's FO Sunday.

F.O. , as per the Dazee Dreamer Dictionary, (adj)........ Food Orgasm

So go over and grab the code to my button, (or not, not making you) and join in the fun. Come back and link on up so others can enjoy the party you had this week.

I had a really hard time coming up with one picture this week. So I'm going with 3. So without any further ado, here they are.

In a respectful 3rd place we have..............
Cinnamon Sweet Roll and Milk on Ice. Of course, with a straw. No other way to drink milk on ice. A rep brought in donuts this week. And I always have a 1/2 gallon of milk at work, just for moments like this. And if you follow my blog at at, you know about me and my donuts. :)

In an even more respectful 2nd place..................

Homemade Chinese Dinner. My little sister Emily came over on Memorial Day and made this marvelous dish. Lets see, Sweet & Sour Pork, Shrimp Fried Rice, a Cabbage dish that I'm not sure what it was called, but it was good, and of course no chinese dinner is complete without Pot Stickers. Yum-o-la.

And this weeks first place winner is.......drum roll please...............

Teriyaki Chicken, Scalloped Potatoes, Baked Beans and Shrimp Macaroni Salad. Plus a nummy Roll smothered in butter. We had a promotion at work this week and served this to our lucky customers.

Honestly, 1st and 2nd were rough to choose between. But as you can see, I was having FO's left and right this week.

Your turn. Please grab your blog and link up so we can share the O's.
