Reality Blog Award

*** Stepping Up To Microphone ***

Ummm, hi.  I would like to thank Joey at Joey's Pad for passing on the Reality Blog Award to one of his favorite people.  Ok, probably just in my mind, but heck, I'll take it.

Of course, he wants to know things about me that could be exciting for you to know about me as well.

All I can say is, grab your favorite drink, sit down, keep your arms and legs inside, and have fun.

1.  If you could change one thing in your life, what would it be?
Honestly, I wouldn't want to change anything.  Except for maybe learning a little bit earlier in life, that we are given experiences to learn and grow from.  I also believe that we are sometimes given things, say like my diabetes, to someday be able to help others with the same disease.  Of which is the case with my cwason's four year old daughter who was diagnosed with it a couple of months ago.  I was able to help both her and her daughter through the learning process of testing and shooting up.

2.  If you could repeat any age, which would it be?
When I was a elementary school age kid, grades 4 through 6, we would go out during recess and play Lost In Space.  The TV show was big then.  (this was in the late 60's, give me a break)  We would climb up to the top of the monkey bars,
Sit on the top of them and pretend we were the Robinson family.  Aaahhhh, to go back to those days, just once, would be a little piece of heaven.

3.  What really scares you?
Mice
Terrified.  Scream.  Jump up on chairs, pee myself.
Yeah.  Did I mention I'm scared of mice?

4.  If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be?
I have no idea why this one keeps popping in my head but I'm just going to put it out there.
Lady Godiva
(not to be confused with lady Gaga)
Yup, there I am, all blond and skinny and riding the horse naked through the streets.  Maybe it's because she didn't care what the world thought.  She was her own person.  But then, I'm not a huge history buff, so I might be wrong about why she did it, but still.  La-de-da, not a care in the world.

Ok, pull your eyes away from my nakedness........
I must now give this award to some people.  A lot of times I don't do that because, well, I want anyone who wants to have the award to have it.  But I'm going to give it to some people today that I think deserve it.

Her blog is all about keeping it real.  Except when she is trying her hardest to make me jealous of the big get togethers around the bonfire.  Not nice Angel, not nice.

She is one of the sweetest people I know.

She has a sense of humor that gets me every time.

Kim has a way of letting me know, that I can be the best mom I can be.  The things that she has had to go through in her life, make me wonder if I could ever be as good as her.

There.  Now go check out these ladies.  You will be glad that you did.

Are You Your Own Person.......Or Are You A Follower

Never fear, I am still alive and well.  As I left you last time, I was in the ER.  I haven't seen a specialist yet, because, well, I have no insurance, and I have to get spa-cial permission to see one.  Hip Hip Hooray for the U.S. of A.

But alas, I am not going to talk about that today.

I am going to talk about friendship.

There are different kinds of friends.

Those that will be by your side, no matter what, through thick and thin.

Those that are fair weather friends.  When times get bad, they are gone-zo.

Then there are those that "pretend" to be your friend, all the while just waiting for the exact moment that they will stab you in the back.
But even worse are those friends that will not stand up and be their own person.

"Gosh, if so and so finds out that I'm still your friend, he/she will treat me just the same as they are treating you".

I will be accused for defriending people on facebook, because of one person.  It is true.  I did.  Only because I know how this person is.  And the "followers" that will report back.  Why?  Because they are afraid that if they don't, they will fall over the side of the same boat.  I was sucked into a world of make believe.

A true friend, does not say things to your face, and then turn around and tell everyone else how they really feel.  "I can't believe that this person is with this person".  "This person is a harlot".  "This person is a drunk".  Really?  Take a good look at yourself in the mirror.

I am not perfect.  I want true friends.  I don't play in the high school years like a lot of people.

Yes, I have hidden the last 6 months.  The real me got upset.  I lost my mojo.  I was afraid of the witch.  Not anymore.  My true friends know how I really am.  My fake friends, go to the place of the one that will ruin your life.

Yes, I truly do have 3 sides.

1.  The quiet, sweet side.
I will sit back, see how things are, and go from there.

2.  The fun and crazy side.
My true friends have seen this side.  We laugh and giggle and just enjoy being together.

3.  The side you never want to see.
I promise you, if you were to see this side, you would not come out in very good shape.  I have been know to have someone pulled out of a class, and read the riot act in front of said class.  I, unlike you, will tell you once, and then forever never talk to you again.  I will not ever talk about you behind your back.  I won't waste my time with you.  You are not worth it.  You are a sorry excuse of a human being.

I'm searching for my mojo.  I want to get back to being my weird self.  Finding the funny in things around me.

All I can hope is, be your own person.  Don't let one person tell you how you have to be, for fear that you will become the next victim.   Because I promise you, IT WILL HAPPEN. When you least expect it.

The Life Of A Dazee

It's time once again for you all to find out those useless pieces of information about myself that you know and love.  If you need someone to blame it on this time, it would be
Angel with Singed Wing Angel's Pad.  She had these questions, said for us to use them.  Because she is cool like that, and doesn't get her panties all in a wad if someone does.

Read um and weep kids.

1.  What Were You Doing 10 Years Ago
Hmmmm, lets see.  10 years ago, I was 45.  I was working at the place that I "hated", loving every minute of it.  I had just become a grandma for the first time.  Yup, lots of things going on at that time in my life.  NOT.

2.  What Are 5 Things On Your To-Do List
a.  Get a job.
b.  Write a children's book
c.  Spend more time with people that make me laugh
d.  Meet my boyfriend, Shemar Moore, in person
e.  Have I mentioned, get a job?

3.  What Are 5 Snacks You Enjoy The Most
a.  Soft Lemon Cookies From Smith's (Kroger)  oh my....
b.  Yogurt Breakfast Bars
c.  Coffee Ice Cream
d.  Cool Mint Oreo's
e.  Carmel Frappe from McDonalds

4.  Names Some Things You Would Do If You Were A Millionaire
a.  Buy each of my kids their own home, mortgage free
b.  Go on a bunch of different cruises, but ummm, not on Carnival, cuz, yeah, they've been in the news too much lately
c.  Visit historical sites in the United States
d.  Visit blogging friends in the US, Canada, and England

5.  Places I Have Lived
Logan, Utah
San Jose, California
Colorado Springs, Colorado
Las Vegas, Nevada
Different Cities in Salt Lake County, Utah

6.  Some Bad Habits I Have
a.  Swearing
b.  Road Rage
c.  Many, many more that I just can't think about right now.  :)

7.  Jobs I Have Had
a.  Flow Solder in the HP Calculator Factory.  Oh yeah, top of the line there.  Loved it.  After the boards got put together with all the diodes and stuff, they would "pass over the hot solder" to  make them all stay in place.
b.  Secretary at a Purse Manufacturer.  I was young and skinny.  It was owned and operated by men from another country.  Can I just say, when I had to go into the back where they were making the purses, the men worker's would "stand at attention", and not by standing up out of their chair, if you catch my drift.  Yikes
c.  Receptionist
d.  Purchasing Agent
c.  Office Manager

Now it's your turn to play along.  Go for it.  Don't be scared.

Sunday Social 12.16.12

Sunday Social
Oh happy, snowy, wintery day from my corner of the world.  Yeah, it's a winter wonderland.  I'm cool with it because it is the holiday season, but starting January 1st, no more.  Got it mother nature.  ok, good.
Whilst going through the plethora of blogs I follow, I came upon this gem today.  So I'm linking on up.  It is from a blog called A Complete Waste of Makeup.
Lets get rolling like the snowballs, shall we.

What is the wallpaper on your cell phone
I know, you are shocked and amazed that I would have butterflies as my wallpaper.  The color really is more purple.  The color inside the butterflies is purple.

What do you keep beside your bed
Mostly dust as you can see.  My alarm clock, phone charger, blistex, my GPS that I keep forgetting to put back in the car, notes and such.

What is your least favorite chore
Hate, hate, hate doing dishes.  Closely followed by folding clothes.  Don't mind throwing them in the washer and dryer, just the folding and putting away.

If you could eliminate one thing from your daily routine, what would it be
Someone, please hire me!!!!!!
What do you do to vent anger
I admit it.  When I get very, very angry, I will swear like a sailor.  I can spout off a whole paragraph.  Hide your kids if I get mad. :)

What is your favorite holiday of the year and why
I love Thanksgiving.   Yummy food, spending time with my kids and grandkids.

That last photo really makes me hungry.............

My Christmas Want List

Happy Cyber Monday y'all.  Have you done any shopping?  I did.  Spent mega tons of money.  NOT.  I would be in all sorts of hot water if I did.  :)

While I was visiting Judy's blog this morning, she did the Friend Makin Monday challenge.  This is the question on the week.  Play along.  I would love to see your christmas list.

Dear Santa:  List at least ten things that you may or may not need that you'd love to find under your tree this year.

1.  A Purple George Foreman Grill
Yes, I have looked everywhere online.  No you can't get them in the United States.  I have found them in Europe, but guess what?  SOLD OUT.  Because purple rocks my people!!!!!

2.  The winning ticket in this weeks Super Lotto.  (or whatever the lotto it is)  I could use the 435 million dollars that the jackpot is up to.

3.  A Hawaiian Cruise

4.  A Job
Since I'm jobless and stuff right now

5.  A super lovely exciting body
Oops, boyfriend, I would certainly like to have his body up against mine......
OK, how about this body, and all the strength that goes with it

6.  A Personal Chef
I mean, who wouldn't want to eat stuff that was tasty that you don't have to prepare

7.  Kitchen Staff
Because who wants to clean up afterwards.  Not me!!!!!

8.  A New TV
We have the old kind.  Take up a lot of space.  Had for at least 20 years.  Not the newfangled, slim, hang on the wall flat kind.  OK, I don't need one, the others work, but hey, it's Christmas.

9.  Unlimited Air Miles
So I can go visit all the cool people that I have met in the blogging world, and not have to pay for the flights.  I know, right.

10.  A Money Tree
Well duh, need to have all the spending money for said trips.

What do you want to find under your tree?

The Answers To My Questions...

The other day I asked the people that I highlighted to answer some questions.  In all fairness to them, I am going to answer them, because, well, I know you have inquiring minds and want more blackmailing material,  more knowledge of who I really am.

So, without further ado

1.     How old were you when you got your first kiss?  Do you remember his/her name?
I was the ripe old age of 13.  His name was Rusty.  Nuff said.  I think back on it now, and ummm, yeah, yuk.

2.     What is a wild and crazy thing you did with a group of friends?
I know that we all have done the thing from Waynes World.  Maybe not the same song, but we did the flying down the street, radio volume up high, singing at the top of our lungs.
Not to mention that one time me and a bunch of friends went into a 7-11 and caused a ruckus.  No really, little ole sweet and innocent me did that.

3.    Do you like Roller Coasters?  If so, what is the funnest one you have ever been on?
I love, love, love, love, love Roller Coasters.  If there was a dream job for me, it would be traveling around the world, riding and writing about them.

This is called Wicked.  It is here in Utah at Lagoon.  So.....much......fun..
But I have to say one of my all time favorites is at Knotts Berry Farm.  It is called Boomerang.  First you go forward, then you go backward.  L.O.V.E.D.....I.T.....

4.      Christmas or Thanksgiving?  Why?
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving.  Its just a time to get together, and eat yummy food. One tradition that my kids hate, but that I really like is we go around the table and say what we are thankful for.  It changes from year to year.  I also write an individual letter to Mr. Dazee, my kids, their spouses, and my grandkids.  That reminds me, I best be getting some writing on.

5.  Man or Woman?
This wasn't on my original question list but, omg, bring me the peroxide, hurry, pour it in my eyes.
Supposedly a woman.  Yeah, I'd do him/her.
 N.O.T.

oh, and
You're Welcome

And The Answers Are.................

Oh My Gosh, look at how young Betty White was once upon a time.  She was so excited when I asked her to sing a little ditty for my post today.  She was beyond herself with excitement.  But, at one point in the song she calls me FREE AND EASY.  What the?  I am neither free or easy.  Just ask my friends.

Let take these true and false questions that you all, ok, some of you brave souls guessed and I will answer them one by one.

My Favorite Soda Is Pepsi
5 of you said True
5 of you said False
The answer is
FALSE

I will drink pepsi IF it is the only thing the restaurant serves, but not without moaning about it to them.  My favorite drink is......drum roll please
And yes, I have emailed MickeyDee's about them needing to have it as one of their options of drink, because, well, I'm cool like that.

I Just Got A New Tattoo
6 of you said true
2 of you said false
The answer is
TRUE

I had baby G's butterfly added to my grandchildren garden.  I also had Amanda, my cool and awesome artist, add my grandkids initials because they are always asking me "which one is me again grammie".  I love those kids

I Am Afraid Of Heights
4 of you said true
1 of you said false
The answer is
TRUE

I am extremely afraid of heights, but not if there is a safety cage or something.  My heart starts pounding and I hyperventilate.  Now, I can fly in planes, no problem, I'm enclosed.  Stand me on the edge of the Grand Canyon, have the paramedics on standby

TIME OUT:  Were some of you afraid to guess some of these.  I only ask because of the how many answered each individual question.  Moving on.

I Once Had The Police Looking For Me
5 of you said true
0 of you said false
The answer is
TRUE

I was in a baton twirling group as a kid.  We would march in parades in the summertime.  I never got told where my parents were going to pick me up one time, so I ended up lost.  I wrote about it a long time ago, which you can read here.  Scary times.

I Am Extremely Quiet
2 of you said true
4 of you said false
The answer is
FALSE

Bwaaa-haaaa-haaaaa.  I am so the opposite of quiet.  If it is too quiet in a room, I will start joking around, because I can't stand it.  Or, I'm afraid that they are sitting there thinking I'm a dork and I have to do something.  I can be very quiet if I want to prove a point, of which my 11th grade math teacher found out.  Oh yeah, good times.

I've Never Been On A Train
3 of you said true
3 of you said false
The answer is
FALSE

I went to Elementary School in Colorado Springs.  We had some cool field trips.  But when you got to the 6th grade, oh boy.  The BEST EVER FIELD TRIPS were that year.  You looked forward to being in 6th grade just for that.  One time we went to the US Mint in Denver.  I will never ever forget that.  But the field trip that was by far the best, we got to ride a REAL LIVE TRAIN from Colorado Springs to Pueblo.   I would love to take another trip someday on a train.  Maybe through wine country in California.

There you go.  All in all, you did good.  I'm a little bit sad that I didn't have very many people play along.  But then, someday, when I'm extremely rich and famous, those of you that did answer will be able to say,
I knew her when.....

It's A Drunken MeMe.....Yee Haw

I know, get up off of the floor.  Two posts in as many days.  My friend Judy Susan, has been a blogger since, well, ummm, when there was such a thing called Yahoo 360 to do your blogs on.  Slap my face and call me shocked, I have no idea what that even is.  Apparently it was the blogger of its time.  A merry old time, when life was beautiful all the time and you could see the little old men with the little white coats, wait........wait..........moving on.
Here, in no particular order, are the answers to her questions of the weeks.  Ok, you caught me, they are in the order that she asked them.  Gosh, I can't pull anything over on you guys.
#1.  What does your child/mom do that makes you proud?
I have to say, that watching my children being parents makes me one proud mama.  My grandkids are so lucky that they are being raised with love.  There is so much hatred and bullying going on that to see them having a safe place to fall does my heart good.

#2.  What were you thinking when you decided you wanted to blog?  How did you come up with your title?
Now don't laugh, but when I was a young girl, I loved to read Erma Bombeck.  She freaking cracked me up.  I loved her way about talking about life.  I figured I could do just as good as her, if not better (big head much?).  I've always looked at life in kooky ways.  I've never tried to be "serious", unless I have to be.

How did I come up with my title.  Well, because I am somewhat crazy during the days, and have always had strange dreams at night, I decided that is what it should be named.  Every night.  Movie in Dazee's brain, every......night.......of.......the.......week.    Therefore, Crazy Daze & Nite Dreams.  Yeah, I didn't want to spell it normal, because, well, I'm not.

#3.  Who is your favorite all time blogger?
I'm going to say myself, because, well, I rock this crap.  Actually, I like so many types of different bloggers that I couldn't even come up with one of my all time favorites.  Now don't cry, I give people shout outs all the time, so don't worry your pretty little heads.  If I follow you, you are my favorite.  (I have children, can you tell).

#4.  Do you leave honest comments, silly comments, or not comments?
I leave comments all the time.  Well, that is unless you have like 100 people leaving comments, in which case, what the hell am I doing wrong, I might or might not depending on if I think you will read my comment.  I'm more the leave a silly comment, if it warrants it.  If someone has done a post and is getting ragged on by commenter's, especially if one of the commenter's has been especially mean spirited, I will email the blogger and call the commenter out on the carpet.  I won't get a holy war going on their page.

#5.  Have you ever actually been drunk when you posted on your blog?
I have to admit that I have never been drunk.  I've been known to have a drink when I've gone out to dinner with friends, but that is about it.  I am of the type that if I get drunk, I will say and do things that I will not want to own the rights to.  Also, I hate to throw up, ick.  I did enough of that while pregnant.  People always tell me, "but you feel so much better after you barf".  Yeah, well, my chest doesn't like the bruise I get on it when I'm slamming into the front of the throne.  So, I guess the answer would be no.  Unless you count, being drunk on life, or Coke Zero, then yes, I have.
Now, go link up with this little meme.  I want to see what you have to say for yourselves.

People Watching At The Chevron

I love to people watch.  I admit, I do it.  At airports, on the trax train, at Chevron.  Not that I'm usually just hanging out in my car at The Chevron.  That would be wrong.  But, when you have to wait for over an hour for someone to meet you there (April), you can get a lot of stuff done.

Of course, I don't know about you, but I have little conversations about what is going on in THEIR heads at the time.   My part of the conversation is in the red.
It is going to reach 100 degrees today.  Right now it is close to 90.  Here comes a gal in her car with her beanie on.  I'm sure this was what she was thinking
"gonna be a hot one today, better wear my beanie"

Big man comes in driving a little car.  I'm talking huge head, little car.
Honestly, what are they thinking while buying a car
"why yes, my head is too big for my car, they will never notice"

Another man comes out of the store.  Puts his purchases in the drivers seat.  Walks around and opens his trunk.  Looks in and closes it back up.  OMG, I'm sure this is what he was thinking
"better make sure that dead girl is still dead.  Yup, she is"

Now we are going to move on to the fashion statements.

"What?  My clothes don't match.

Speaking of which

Some men shouldn't be allowed to wear shorts.  Ever!!!!!!
Just sayin

I wonder where that lady bought her shirt.  I really like it.
I almost got out of my car to ask her.

I am totally going to have to design some decent bike shorts.

Ick, throwing up, washing my eyes out.  Moving on, hurry, hurry.
Dear bike riding dudes.  I DO NOT ever, ever, in a million years, want to see your packagea.  Its bad enough some of you decide that you want to wear a speedo whilst swimming.

Now, feast your eyes on the best thing that happened while I was sweltering in the heat waiting.
My Dream Car
Oh my, the only thing that would have made this car any better looking would be if boyfriend was sitting in the drivers seat.  aaaaahhhhhh
Red Convertible Mercedes.
Jim Croce has it right
"Moving me down the highway, moving me down the high-a-way, moving ahead so life won't pass me by"

How Well Do They Really Know Us?

This picture cracked me up big time.  How many times have you thought, or said, the same thing.

While trying to come up with something special for Mothers Day, I remembered seeing
these questions on Sunshine and Peanuts blog.  I sent off emails to Mr. Dazee, My sons and my son-in-law.  Some of their answers, I must admit cracked me up.

Then I got the bright idea to send the same questions to their wives to see how close they were.  I loved how honest the girls were with their answers.

When Dazee And Dinosaurs Roamed The Earth

Oh, the good old days.  When you could watch tv with the whole fan damily and not have to hurry and change the channel, and by change the channel I mean get up off the couch and change the channel, so you wouldn't have to explain the reason that that woman is sitting on top of the car, almost naked, eating a hamburger.

By the way, with the advent of DVR's you can fast forward through them, but you still have to "watch" them.  But I digress.

I have gone in search of some of my favorite commercials from when I was a kid.  I loved some of the old jingles (again, you young'uns, they had their own, not just some song they paid royalties for to use) ah hmmm, moving along.

McDonald's.  A national treasure.  Do you know that when they first opened, women were not allowed to work there.  Yeah, I know right.

Who can forget this cute little guy.  So, so cute.  And it cracks me up at the end the way the announcer says bologna.

Fully dressed people in bed.  Shocker.

Ha, this jingle I still sing once in a while.  In fact I sang/texted it to one of my friends the other day.  Can be incorporated into any type of situation.

Oh boy.  I remember this commercial.  I wanted one of these so freaking bad.  Never got it, cuz you know, it was a whole $1.99, but back in those days that was like $10.00.

Does anyone remember when margarine was the thing you were supposed to use.  So much better for you than real butter.  Yeah, I know huh.  I will never forget "mother nature"

Loved this commercial.  Don't ask me why, I just did.  Maybe its because even as a youngster, I wanted the whole world to get along.  I grew up during the Vietnam War.  I think if I would have been an older teen in the 60's I would have been a flower child.  But, I was a mere kid and young teen.  I still have those ideals tho.

What are some commercials that you remember from your youth?

Guts? Me? I Don't Think So

While going through my reader yesterday, scolding myself for not doing a post, I came across this meme, and was like, hey, I can bore tell my side of this story.  Read it and weep.  Because you will be weeping with joy, that I have finished, by the time you finish.

5 Things I Wish I Had The Guts To Do:

1.  I wish I had the guts to run for State Legislator.  Why?  They need a voice of reason.  They need someone that isn't all about church and state being in bed together.  They need someone that will be FOR THE PEOPLE.  Not the Corporations.  And that is the final rant about politics.

2.  I wish I had the guts to write a book.  How I would love to come up with something that people would read and enjoy.  Of course, the millions that some of those authors make would be nice too.

3.  I wish I had the guts to grab a friend, jump on an airplane, go to New York, have dinner, maybe go to a show, and then fly back to Salt Lake.  Not to have to worry about explaining to Mr. Dazee why I just randomly put money on the credit card, and especially, have him say that he's not mad at me, but that he thinks I'm a goonball, and that's why he loves me.

4.  I wish I had the guts to be in the same room with a mouse, and not start to hyperventilate, jump up on my chair, and scream at the top of my lungs.  To say I have a phobia of mice, would be an extreme understatement.

5.  I wish I had to guts to let my parents know I have tattoos.  Most of my siblings know, but for some reason, growing up in the religion I did, and not meeting the expectations of my parents, I just can't do it.  I love my tattoos.  I have butterflies for Mr Dazee, my kids, and my grandkids.  They mean the world to me.  I guess I just don't want to hear them say that I have ruined my body, and have "disappointed" them.  I need to practice what I preach and just not care about how they feel.

Maybe this will be the year.

11 More Things You Don't Care To Know About Me

Oh Felicia, you are such a dear, no really, you are.  Wanting me to bore my poor readers to death with more things they don't care to know about me.

But, because you were kind enough to tag me, I will play your little game.  I might or might not tag others.  Most the time, those I do, don't play along.  The stupid creeps.  Wait, no you aren't my dear followers, you are the most awesome people I know.  Wait, I have to give it to people that I follow.  This has just become too confusing.

Here is how this little gem works.  Felicia has given me 11 questions to answer.  I in turn, must come up with 11 questions for whomever I pass it on to.  And so on, and so on, and so on.

Let us begin.

1. What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? Why?
Haagen-Dazs Coffee.  Why you ask?  Because it's ice cream and coffee all in one place.  Note to self:  must go get some Ice Cream

2. If you could vacation anywhere for a week with your family where would it be and why?
A Hawaiian Cruise.  Because I have never been there and the travel agent said that is the best way to see all of the islands without having to pack and unpack.

3. Shorts, pants or skirts?
Capri's.  Oops not one of the questions.  Too bad, so sad, that is my answer

4. What is the one thing you hope your children learn from you and pass onto their own families in the future?
That family is the most important friend to have.  Friends can come and go, but family will always be there.

5. What is your favorite kind of flower?
I love me the peach colored Rose

6. What do you like to do in your down time?
I blog, lose at Words with Friends, Pinterest, read.  Love to read.

7. If you were stranded on a deserted island and could only have three people with you who would they be? Family doesn't count! =)
But, no family.  hmmmmm
Christy, Harry Connick Jr. (her heartthrob) and of course
Boyfriend

8. What is your favorite board game?
I don't play many bored board games.  I would have to say Sorry (the game you nuttbutts)

9. Do you prefer to eat out or to eat it?
I prefer to eat in, and I enjoy making dinners, but I hate, hate, hate the cleanup.  Luckily I have a wonderful Mr. Dazee that tells me, since I did all the work cooking, he will do the cleanup.
Oh your jealousy is showing.  tsk tsk

10. What do you prefer a cabin in or near the beach, mountains, lake side or woods?
I would have to say a cabin by the lake.  Because there is water but it is peaceful water.  Sometimes when I'm at the beach the constant sound of water rushing and waves gets on my nerves.

11. What is the one household chore you hate above all the rest?
I really truly hate doing the dishes.  Growing up with a family of 8 siblings and 2 parents, with a mom that cooked a Sunday dinner every night of the week, and no dishwasher, made me hate it beyond words.  Thank heavens for Mr. Dazee.

Ok, I really can't think of who I want to give this award to.  But I am coming up with 11 questions that if you want to answer them, go right ahead.  And please do because I want to know your answer.  Get it?  Got it?  Good!  Oh, and to make it even more fun for me, I have included a link so you can link up so I can read them all.  I know, the pressure you are all now under.  Get on it!

1.  What is your corn-on-the-cob etiquette?
2.  Have you ever won, or has someone won you a stuffed animal at the fair?
3.  What is your pet peeve?
4.  What is your favorite Disney movie?
5.  Have you ever had a feud with your neighbors?
6.  What do you order from your favorite Chinese/Thai/etc, restaurant?
7.  What was the best field trip you went on as a kid?
8.  What is the fastest you've ever driven?
9.  What season of the year makes you the happiest?
10.  What do you think other people think of you?
11.  Do you like your name?  What would you name yourself if you could?
