A Mothers View

I'm a little bit late with my Saturday Centus.  Jenny has decided this week to have us use the same picture, looking out a window.  Should be interesting.

A MOTHERS VIEW

As she sipped her hot coffee, Bethany watched the kids at the park gathered around the coach. Their loud chatter wafted towards the window.

Just then there was a sound behind her. She turned and drank in the sight of her son Skylar.

“Mom, what are you looking at?”

She mussed his hair as he rolled his wheelchair up next to her, looking out also.

“Mom, can we go watch them play”, he asked with a smile.

As a tear rolled down her cheek, she thought to herself

I am so lucky to have you in my life.

Oops, Pushed The Wrong Button

I had a dream Friday night that I won a beautiful, dark red, convertible corvette for Mr. Dazee.  Its his dream car (of which I'm sure it is many men's).  I was a smidge sad when I woke up and it was just a dream.  He was so excited and happy.

So, I'm thinking, if any of you are doing a corvette giveaway, please let me know.  I would love to try for that one.  Maybe my dream was a premonition of a big win on a giveaway.  Or Not, most likely.

I also won a boat.  It was an awesome boat.  One like I've never seen before.  I'm thinking it's because my good friend Christy has a boat.  Ok, her husband has a boat.

Speaking of Christy.  The other day we were texting away.  I decided that she needed her own ring tone, so I'm searching through my sounds to find one.  The thing was, I kept pushing the freaking green call button instead of the menu button.  After 3 times of luckily seeing it before it went through, my luck ran out.  Oh, I got to the list of sounds, but then all of the sudden, there is a strange "sound" coming from my phone.

"Dazee, Dazee, is that you".
Ummm, since when did that sound show up on my phone.  Hmmm.  Look at my phone, dang, I've connected with her mad mind.  Yikes.  What do I say?

"Well, hello Christy, so nice to finally put a voice to your texts"
(that was me pretending to be like, yeah, I called you on purpose)

Ok, I fessed up.
Told her I really didn't mean to call her.  Why, you ask?  Because, well, the thing is, I'm actually kind of terrified of talking to people in person.  Not like in person, but on the phone.  I'm always afraid that I will sound stupid and dumb and they can't see my face and then they will be like, omg, she is such a farce, and then they will defriend me, and block me from their phones and I will be all sad and crying and I will end up not blogging anymore, and .......

whoa, hold on there cowgirl...

But guess what?  She didn't do any of that.  Turns out she had wanted to call me but was afraid I would be all, "why the hell are you calling me you weirdo".   We talked for quite a while and it felt like we had been friends forever.  We made plans for Thanksgiving and Christmas, ok, we didn't, but it sounded good, right.  I had a blast and now we text even more than we did before.

I bet some of you are thankful I don't text you.  I'm a text stalker.  I will drive you c.r.a.z.y.  I will randomly just say something.

Just like another friend I have recently made.  You know her as Boobies.  She texted me the other night that she was semi-drunk.  I answered her back.  "You are drunk in a semi?'  And oh my, I can't even tell you where it went from there, except that we need to sell the movie rights to someone.  :)

I love how the blogging world has made it possible to make friends all over the world.  Now, if texting to places outside of the US was part of my unlimited texting plan, even more of you would be on my stalking list.

You Call That A Fracking Medium?

Oh, Friday.  The day of day, joy of joy, end of the week love of my life.  I can make it the 9 more hours of work until my weekend begins.

Of course, I'm joining up with our wonderful hosts, Christy and Boobies for my flip-offs of the week.

First off I'm starting with Judge William Adams that beat his daughter.  You can read the article here.  I became sick to my stomach reading the newspaper article.   I could not bring myself to watch the video.  I have extreme hatred for those that abuse children, adults or animals.  I hope and pray that this JUDGE gets put in prison.  If you can stomach abuse, you can see the video here.  I will not watch it.  I've just heard it is extremely awful to watch.  So a big ole Frack You to Judge William Adams!

Now on to less painful, but still on my list of crap of the week.

To The Fracking Driver Of This White PPC Truck
What the hell dude.  It was an accident.  Yes traffic was at a crawl.  Yes you were in the HOV lane with me behind you.  At least we were in the lane that was moving the fastest.  When you pass the accident and it is smooth sailing, STEP THE FRACK ON THE GAS.  I'm about to run into you.  And if you are stupid enough to look in your side mirror at me, you are going to get the Dazee hands of "what the frack" and me saying, "move it fracker".  Yes, I moved over so I could pass you going 50 freaking miles per hour.  Then 2 miles down the road your passenger has the audacity to give me the finger as you FINALLY catch up to me.  Do you know what happens to people like you?  Blog of shame mister, blog of shame.
Oh and the WTH.  Santa is arriving at the mall on November 12th.  Wow.  I remember when he didn't show up until the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  *shakes head*.

To My Fracking Brain
Be advised that the women's restroom key WILL NOT unlock your car door.  Nuff said.

To The Lazy Fracken Person At The Gas Station
This is your piece of gum.   That is the trash.  Are you so lazy that you couldn't have spit thrown it in the trash.  Oh wait, yes, apparently you are.  May you step in a 1000 pieces of gum during your lifetime.

Dear Fracken Wendy's
I remember when you use to could buy a MEDIUM frosty and it was the same size as a medium drink.  Do not try to pass this small piece of cup off as "medium".  I can do without the fancy plastic cup.  And furthermore, if you are going to rip us off, fill the sucker to the top of the plastic lid.  Honestly, when a girl is craving a chocolate frosty, size does matter!!!!!

Phew.  Relief.  Let the weekend begin!

I Spy - Trees

Photobucket

It's time to link up your photos for this weeks I Spy.

Come join in the fun with Christy's Mad Mind and me, Crazy Dazee.  Grab the code over there on the right, and link on up.  Not very many rules.  You take the photo's, and use any type of camera.  We only give you one prompt that we will all try our hand at, and the other is your choice.   See, easy mageasy.

Tree(s)
This is a tree that I see everyday out my kitchen window.  It resides at the neighbors house behind us.  The color of it was so breathtaking to me.  One thing about photo's, unless you are good like Christy, I can't bring them to life.  But then, I have my friend Picnik that lets me take a photo and do different things with it.

This photo is just using the feature Auto-Fix.  It brightens up the photo.

Same photo, but I used the Night Vision effect

Same photo yet again using Lomo-ish.  I'm so weird, I don't even know what that word means.  I think it means, brighten up and bring out colors even more.

My Choice

This is a photo I took at Taipan Trading.   This store has everything your little heart desires.  One department is nothing but mirrors.

I loved this mirror the moment I laid my eyes on it.   No, we didn't buy it.  But if there had been a place in my home for it, I would have.  It was just so inviting to me.  And really, I don't like mirrors.  Or should I say, they don't like me.  I never stop to check myself out.  Frankly, it scares me.  :)

I used a frame in Picnik that was called Mirror.  I found it appropriate for this photo.

Looking forward to seeing what you all got.

Next weeks prompts

and
Your Choice

Remember, let your imagination be your guide.  You can do literal photos or something off the wall.  I'm actually kind of excited for the map I'm going to use.
