I'm a 50 something woman that has taken the bull by the horns, and is living my life the way I want to live it. Some call it a midlife crisis, I call it an awakening.

Some might say I'm a little on the wacky side.  Ok, alot say that, but I have fun.  Life is too short to not have a good time. 

I was always the "good" girl growing up.  Now, I'm me.  Got my first tattoo at 51, another 4 months later, and when I turned 52 I got my last one.  They are all butterflies and represent my husband, my kids, and my grandkids. 

I have been with the love of my life since 1977.  We got married in 1979.

I started blogging as a way to understand what some of my crazy dreams were.  But then I found that I loved to write.  I love to make people laugh, and sometimes cry.  Hopefully I at least bring a smile to your face.

We have 3 kids, a daughter and 2 sons,  and 4 grandkids, 3 girls and a boy.  Of course, their spouses are included in our family.  We love them all.
