Chapter One: You Can Choose Your House, But You Can't Choose Your Neighbors.

CHAPTER ONE
It began as any other morning for Dazee.  She lazily rolled out of bed and stretched the kinks out of her body.  She walks out of her room, with many things on her mind.

As she opens the blinds she looks at the blanket of snow that has been covering their part of the world.  She rounds the corner into her kitchen area, and opens the Roman Blinds that cover the double door leading out to her backyard.

"What is this", she exclaims loudly.  It is a shock to her system to see footsteps in the snow.  The only footsteps that are there.  Her heart starts racing as she grabs her camera to record the evidence.

"The footprints are going from/to the neighbors house to our house", she says to herself.   All the things she has heard about The Perp enter her head.

What do we have outside that she could have taken?  What if she is looking into the rooms of the windows that we don't close the blinds?  What if she was on my deck?  What if that was the sound I was hearing last night?

Most importantly, why would someone be stupid enough to walk on freshly fallen snow to where you can see where the tracks are leading to?

Never fear.  Dazee is on the case.  She has read enough mystery books in her lifetime to know how to gather the evidence.

Hopefully, the Perp saw Dazee outside checking the footprints and taking the incriminating photos.

What is going to happen next?

  1. I look forward to the next chapter...and I know that you'll get to the bottom of the case, without the help of the police.

  4. Wow... just wow.... I say "bear trap". If she's not smart enough to skirt the snow she won't even realize it's there.

  9. So, I've done some investigating from your photos. From the small glimpses of foothills (in your pics), and the tracks, the "perp" is looking more like the "4-legged" (deer) kind. Can't wait for the next chapter.
